	2009.05.09  11.17 A fine hour On 1 hour of sleep i'm going to try to recap the last couple of days. I've been doing a lot of pub ed community events and it makes me realize how awesome being a firefighter is. People love firefighters and all kids want to be one. Working at a chili cookoff, ALCO FD had a booth set up with some bomb ass chili. We were also the first aid booth but no real calls during the event. Anyways I felt like a celebrity with people taking pictures of us throughout the night and people stopping by to show appreciation. There was a little boy probably 3 years old, who looked sad with his mom who came to our booth and I gave him a Junior FF sticker and he was stoked and I was showing him the fire engine and picked him up and put him in the driver's seat and he was so happy. Pretty cool to be able to make little kids smile so easily. Then this morning I worked at a pancake breakfast and we got about $1500 to go towards children at burn centers. It was a fun event with a good turnout and more of the same with people showing their love to firefighters. Also I learned that cops always come to fire houses to shit/piss. In the 4 hours I was there about 20 cops came through to relieve themselves. Time to get a little sleep. Peace out lj. Mood: tired

	2009.05.03  00.36 the iron giant Dang so i've had this livejournal account for a little over 5 years now, and in those 5 years i've managed to post less than 10 times. I mainly used this account just to comment on Mayettte Raisa Young Villanueva's lj. Well today is the day I start using this thing regularly, for real this time. So anyways, my mom and dad have facebook and my mom is friends with me on there. (my dad on the other hand is not but I don't mind haha.) I find it weird that today she posted a status update saying, "I hope I hear good news from the Doctor tomorrow." Weird being that she is sharing this with all her facebook "friends" while I had no idea she even went to see a doctor. Either way I hope she hears good news also. My cousin's wedding is coming up in 3 weeks in Virginia and it turns out that I cant go anymore because of work. I was really looking forward to it but I just got this job and the weekend of the wedding is opening weekend. So I will have a week to have the house to myself. I should start reading for my creative writing class but I hate school. Mood: bored Music: tv playing

	2008.07.06  02.45 harrow! im an emt now. i got a cool patch and certificate in the mail. im on my way to making my dreams come true and that feels really good. my summer so far has been pretty okay. very chill but summer school is making me miserable. my acting class is pretty fun but i just don't feel really connected to it. the whole class calls me "ken." i thought it would be interesting to go by a different name. us history sucks. its interesting and the teacher is funny but im antisocial in there. i just sit on the side with my legs propped up on the desk in front of me and eat chips and doodle all day. i love to do doodle. thats pretty much it, and working a few hours here and there just to get by. sometimes i feel like i want a girlfriend. people say i'm too picky but i'd like to think i just want someone who is really right for me and not have to settle for something less. its been like over 2 years since ive had a real relationship but its really hard to find someone im truly comfortable with. that's my biggest thing in a girl, being able to be 100% comfortable with them, and a personality that just meshes really well. it's almost 3am. and i'm just thinking outloud and writing on here because i haven't in awhile and i told myself id keep this updated somewhat regularly. one day ill come back to this subject. i have so many things i want to talk about but i don't know where to start. blehasdlkasdfajkk.

	2008.06.28  14.24 i hate waiting i have been dedicating the past couple of weeks to prepare for the national registry emt test and i finally took it yesterday. it's a computer based test with no set number of questions. i got up a little early to go over last minute things and drove to bart so i can go to 12th street oakland city center. there was hella delays so i was running late and i finally got off and literally ran trying to find the Transpacific Center where i was supposed to take it. I finally find the building and go up the elevator looking for suite 470. luckily for me the suites were totally not in numerical order. Then I get in and see a few people there and I check in. They take testing really seriously and I had to get finger printed 3 times, show my drivers license and my passport, take a picture, and sign this thing and empty out all of my pockets and put my wallet keys and phone in a locker. In the main testing center you have your own little cubicle and are constantly being video and audio recorded. i started taking it and all the questions sucked. they were all very general and all the available answers could have been the most correct in different situations. All the studying I did really didn't help me at all. It was pretty frustrating and I didn't even know how many questions I had left to go. Then the test ended at around 80 questions and the lady came to escort me out. I went home and got tacobell. and now i've been waiting checking on nremt.org for the test results over and over again but I think they won't be up till monday. A lot of people who passed it said they hella felt like they failed it. that's a good thing because I feel like i failed it. who knows.

	2008.06.19  18.55 its hot so today is hot. i finished my first week of summer school. really chill. my intro to acting class we pretty much play all day. the teacher is really into theatre. my us history class the teacher is a hella goofy old man that has the hear of a 12 year old. its fun. i should make friends but im anti social. so today is basically my friday and saturday i dont have work :) too bad im going to be studying like crasy until next friday. had to flake on berkeley people cause they wanted to go clubbing but im not really into the club scene anyways i rather just chill. i've been into learning john mayer songs. i got comfortable, body is a wonderland, and daughters down pretty good. i wish i was better at guitar for having played it since the 5th grade i suck. i was going to write about some other stuff but im about to go to borders to study. so until next time... bye.

	2008.06.14  11.59 Why helllo there Bambi and mama deer! good morning to you too! so today i woke up pretty early for a saturday (9am) to run some errands. i look out my window and what do i see? a mama deer and 2 baby deer eating shrub right outside my window. how pimp is that. its like one of those eastern bed and breakfast where you wake up to things like this. (unlike dwight schrutes bed and breakfast business) but i thought i would take some ninja stealth pictures. :) sneaky snake :O BAMBI urban deer!

	2008.06.13  14.35 GOOD SHIZZ MAYNEEEEE! so today i woke up and met up with some guy for a possible axel back trade + $100. which means money in my pockets! next i sent my mom my grades so she can fax them to the insurance people so i can get good student discount = 20% off = more money in my pockets! next alex called and that beezy owes me lunch so free food! then i checked the mail and got my short shifter bushings and knob! AND THEN!!!! I got a letter from alameda county fire to have an interview on july 16th. FUCK YEA BISHES! life is good! ->>>>> I just opened up my package in the mail and the dude threw in a free fortune cookie in my box! how cool is that!!

	2008.06.12  17.15 yooooo live journal i think i'm going to start writing in this thing again and have it be my secret diary for when i get older. i went to go visit mayette yesterday it was pretty cool. i'm really into chill days and thats exactly what it was. her parents are hella cool. i think ill briefly recap so i can remember what happened in the future. went to sleep around 3:30am :( woke up at 8:30. snooze. 8:35. snooze. 8:45. snooze... up until about 9:30 haha i printed out directions, got ready, and went to get gas. pumping premium sucks $4.70 a gallon plus about 20mpg is no fun. i snacked on nutrigrain bars and water for about 2 hours. good drive though, not much traffic, good weather. i got to her house at around noonish i think. met her mom and dad, which they both said they heard of me, pretty cool my parents know of mayette too and theyve never met her. we went out to lunch at flying pig's and i got scammed into a sloppy joe looking burger. but it was still pretty decent i think it would have been better if i wasn't sick and had more of an appetite. the best part was these cool electric frisbee things that let you know when your order is ready. it makes you feel like you just won a prize. oh and i got a free sauce bucket. <--- really happy about that after lunch we walked around everywhere including sam's club which i have never been to. target. barnes and noble. and best of all RELAX THE BACK. this store was the bomb diggity. it had chairs made from nasa that would read you your emails that made you feel like you were sitting on clouds. amazing. me and mayette tried out just about everything in the store and had really good customer service from some guy, i lost his card already but hes pretty dope. good sales person. after relax the back we walked back and went to her house again. i will just say one word. CHILLOW. after chillow time we hung out in her room and looked through old yearbooks. i can't believe how grown we are now, i think ive known her for 8 years now. but yea looking through yearbooks was fun, felt a little nostalgic.(a reason why i think ill start writing on here) we chilled and talked for a good while and had good times with light tunnels. then i got to go out to dinner with her family. we went to center court's i guess chris webber opened up the restaurant and made the theme all basketball'd out. pretty cool place, good food. and the best part was the waiter who had the most serious face the whole time as if his puppy had just gotten ran over. but mayettes dad figured out that he was gay and was getting married soon and was scared his parents might not show up. so that makes sense. we went to get ice cream after and went back to their place. chilled smore until about 10 and decided i would get going. i really enjoyed my stay. felt completely comfortable being there and her family is really cool. on the drive back i stopped my davis to visit jenn and michelle at their apartment for a little while. let me tell you on the drive back home to hayward i think i killed a 3 billion bugs. i was also pretty tired and was concentrating on not falling asleep at the wheel and dying. at one point i was super tired and was dozing off but i have like a cop radar in my head and spotted one coming onto the highway and seen him early so i dropped from about 83 to 70 to 65 cause he was tailing me for about 4 miles. tried to catch me riding dirty. but anyways that helped me stay awake and after that i was almost home. i got home and microwaved left over's from center court. i love left overs. perfect chill day. today i woke up and did nothing except i was eating on my desk and had my plate sitting on the keyboard tray whatever and previously a screw had fallen out but i didnt bother to put it back in so on one side it was being held by only one screw. as im eating the damn thing collapses on me and my plate falls and my mouse and keyboard are hanging. i was kind of happy because i just bought a 260 piece tool set and i could put it to use for the first time today. i fixed it good as new and that is that. then i checked my grades and realized i got a 3.75 this semester. fucking B in fire operations technology. i was really expecting a 4.0 this semester, kinda bummed about that. thats it for now. im not going to bother proof reading and im sure half of this doesnt make any sense. oh well. see you later livejournal!
